The North Atlantic has about 10 intense tropical storms that could potentially be hurricanes every year. Verder moet je er bij de berekening ook rekening mee houden dat de luchtsnelheid in de kanalen best niet te hoog is. Een te hoge luchtsnelheid zorgt namelijk voor extra geluidoverlast, wat allerminst ge-wenst is natuurlijk.

Het Atkins dieet kent 3 fasen:
Eerste fase: In de eerste twee weken van het Atkins dieet worden de koolhydraten drastisch vermindert. In deze fase is het de bedoeling dat je lichaam in de vetverbrandingsfase terecht komt. In de eerste fase mag je onbeperkt eiwitten eten.
Tweede fase: In deze fase ga je naar je streefgewicht toe werken. Nu mag je wel iets meer koolhydraten gaan eten. Tijdens deze fase is het gebruik van voedingssupplementen belangrijk . Dit voorkomt tekorten zoals mineralen, vitamines, anti-oxidanten en spoorelementen.
Derde fase: Deze fase is gericht om je streefgewicht vast te houden. Het afvallen gaat in deze fase heel langzaam, ongeveer een halve kilo per week. Aan de hand van de gewenste luchtsnelheid en het nodige debiet kan je de nodige diameter bereke-nen voor je ventilatie kanalen.
